I’m having issues with Stm32 nucleo f401re Virtualisation, when I try to virtualise it the issue in the pictures attached comes up. I’m using a windows 10 device and I haven’t had issues with other devices.
Thanks in advance
This is propably a faulty installation.
Could you un-install and re-install the latest version of Zerynth studio?
And let me know if the error still exists
I uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version of Zerynth studio and I even installed CP210x USB to UART Bridge VCP drivers but nothing changed
I see in the log: “Error in virtualization”
This can happen due to various reasons such as:
- not using the latest Nucleo firmware driver available at this link.
- Maybe be due to faulty cable, There are some cables that donot deliver enough power to the board, which result in un-expected behavior.
- the device is used and it’s com port is opened through other programs.
Make sure that you’re not using the device through other programmers/IDEs.
So try updating the Nucleo Firmware, and maybe try another cable and Let’s see if the problem still persists.
Unfortunately nothing worked
Since you haven’t had issues with other devices, Are you sure that the device is not faulty in any way?
