SSL Certificate Verify Fail

Hi, not sure if this is related to this topic , but I am seeing the below upon just opening Zerynth:

[warning] Can’t get community repo HTTPSConnectionPool(host=‘’, port=443): Max retries exceeded with url: /community (Caused by SSLError(SSLError(1, ‘[SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed (_ssl.c:645)’),))

Retrying authorization…

Was fine the day before & thought I would let you know if it’s the same case. Otherwise, please help with debugging. Thanks!

Edit: If anyone else runs into this, it is because your Python certifi package needs to be updated.

Hello @peachpie,

glad you found a solution and thanks for reporting.

It is however a bit strange, since we ship Zerynth with up-to-date CA files…we will double check our toolchain for the next release. Which platform are you using Zerynth on?

Hi @Giacomo,

I am using macOS Mojave, though I suspect it may have been due to a proxy issue.
