I’ve downloaded Zerynth today and i was wondering about the ESP32 board that are compatible.
On Amazon there are a lot of different boards, if these are arduino compatible are them also Zerynth compatible?
Sorry for my english and thanks for your time
Hi…As I don’t
have an ESP32 board, I can’t be of much help for now. However, if ESP32
is already compatible with the Arduino framework, it shouldn’t be too
hard to make it work with OpenPLC. If you want to use the same number of
I/Os that’s are already available on the ESP8266, there is a great
chance of the ESP8266 firmware to just work on the ESP32 without any
modifications. However, if you want to take advantage of the extra I/O
points available on the ESP32, then both the firmware and the ESP8266
driver on OpenPLC must be modified.
here you can find all Zerynth Supported Devices (you can also search ESP32 in the search field to display only ESP32 based boards).
Here you can find a getting started for ESP32 based devices using Zerynth, and here the Zerynth documentation for the Espressif Esp32 DeviKit C (obviously all other devices are available in the doc).
In our Youtube channel, you can also find several video tutorial for ESP32 based board and other Zerynth supported devices.
Hope this can help you
