Core panic trying to use the DIgital Read sample

I am trying to read a switch, so I took the Digital Read sample, and uploaded it to my ESP32 DevKitC, and though I had been running my own project just before that all right, this project results in this:

Guru Meditation Error: Core 0 panic’ed (IllegalInstruction)
. Exception was unhandled.

I wonder what is going on?

Many thanks again for a fine system!

Since I can’t find a way to delete this post, which is now no longer needed, I’ll reply that the system works now.

Sorry about the hassle.
